Economic History and Conditions.

The Caribbean Free Trade Association (CARIFTA) was founded in 1965 with the intent to unite various the economies of various independent Caribbean nations and give them a joint presence on the international scene.	The European Union is a supranational organization that works toward economic integration among its member nations. It is composed of what originally were three separate organizations -- the European Coal and Steel Community, the European Economic Community, and the European Atomic Energy Community.
Jamsetji Nasarawanji Tata established India's textile industry, its iron and steel industry, and its hydroelectric industry. He also pledged a portion of his vast personal fortune towards the establishment of an Indian Institute of Science.
