The Parts of a Flowering Plant

Flowering plants, the most common type of plants, have four main parts: (1) roots, (2) stems, (3) leaves, and (4) flowers. The roots, stems, and leaves are called the vegetative parts of a plant. The flowers and the fruits and seeds they produce are known as the reproductive parts.
