Lynn Dickey(Clifford) Lynn Dickey threw for a total of 6,208 yards while at Kansas State University, a school record that was not broken for 38 years. His 19,000+ yards and 56.4 percent completion average puts him third on the list of all-time best Packer quarterbacks behind Brett Favre and Bart Starr.
Joseph William NamathJoseph William Namath became the first quarterback to pass for more than 4,000 yards in one season in 1967. Despite being plagued with knee injuries through much of his career, he completed a total of 1,886 passes for 27,663 yards and 173 touchdowns in 12 seasons with the Jets.
Jim PlunkettJim Plunkett set NCAA records for most yards total offense and most passing yards in his three years at Stanford. As a professional player, however, his record was inconsistent from season to season. He began the 1980-81 season as a third-stringer, but ended it as the Super Bowl MVP.

He also set seven NFL records and 23 team marks during his short career, and was named to the Pro Bowl in each of his first five seasons.
Veryl SwitzerVeryl Switzer lettered in both football and track at Kansas State University. He subsequently spent two seasons with the Green Bay Packers and three seasons in the Canadian Football League.
