Errol Walton BarrowErrol Walton Barrow led Barbados from being a British colony to an independent nation, and then served as the first Prime Minister of an independent Barbados from 1966 to 1987. During his tenure he instituted a massive program of public works and got his nation admitted into the Organization of American States.
